Effective Treatment
from
Wherever You Are

Feeling too busy for in-person therapy?

Does the idea of commuting to a weekly appointment make you feel even more anxious or overwhelmed than you already are?

And do you feel more comfortable, productive, and secure in the familiar space of your own home?

So much of our lives happen online these days. It makes sense that therapy can happen online too. Whether you prefer meeting virtually or simply don’t have room
in your schedule for in-person appointments, you deserve effective,
reliable support.

How Can Virtual Therapy Help?

I specialize in helping expecting and new moms and my clients often come to because they’re tired of feeling:

  • Struggling to ask for help and navigating mom guilt

  • Discouraged by the lack of support from their partner

  • Feelings of overwhelm

  • Battling negative thoughts about their bodies and society’s unrealistic expectations of them

Through virtual therapy, my clients have the opportunity to get the support and treatment they need while not having to add another thing on their plate, aka finding a babysitter or travel while in the third trimester. My clients can have a session during nap time or even breastfeed their little one during session if they need to. Virtual therapy provides my clients
with convenience and flexibility to still prioritize their mental health.

But is virtual therapy effective?

Although virtual healthcare is a relatively new concept, research shows that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy. The Center For Health Research has found that online therapy can be effective in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues.

In some cases, virtual therapy might be even more effective. Especially for clients with little humans at home who may also be struggling with anxiety or who have a hard time getting vulnerable in unfamiliar spaces. Meeting with a therapist virtually can make seeking treatment an actual option for those that are finding it hard to leave the house in the early postpartum days or even beyond.

As your therapist, I will create a safe and comfortable environment no matter where you are. All you need is a private space, an internet connection, and a desire to dig deep and learn about yourself.
